In 2018, during the 34th Annual International Believers Fellowship (IBF), four faith-filled women of God spoke from the theme: “Women, The Preservers Of Life,” expounding on four biblical women whose memorable actions impacted others in a significant way. The 34th Annual International Believers Fellowship (IBF) was a 3-day event held at the Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel & Waterfront Conference Center in Portsmouth, VA.

​Pastor Dorothy Ligon spoke on Moses’ mother Jochebed from the subject: “A Deposit in the Bank.” Her scripture reference was Exodus 2:3 and she shared the following highlights:

• Jochebed hid Moses for three months, which was an awesome feat because babies cry.
• Moses cry was anointed and touched the heart of Pharaoh’s daughter.
• Jochebed birthed three great children: Aaron, Miriam and Moses.
• Moses was lovely, a goodly child chosen by God.
• God is for mothers, the protectors of human life.
• A mother is a dangerous thing. She possesses the tenacity of a pit bull. Do not mess with the children, the future.
• It’s not about your beginning; it’s about your ending.
• God is able. Never give up on your children.
• Women are strongly attacked, sexually assaulted, and molested throughout life because they are the only legal channel to this life and the devil don’t like it.
• The devil can delay, but not stop the will of God. God’s will be done.

​(Exodus 2:3) But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile.

You were created and born with a purpose
to live life abundantly, loved, and free from fear.

Regardless of who your parents are,
you were planned – you are God’s intentional idea!

Don’t believe the lies other people have told you
or the negative criticisms and profane poison they spread.

God is clear about His love and acceptance of children.
To know the truth, check the Bible and believe what He said.

Before you were formed in your mother’s womb,
God knew you and wrote your days in His Book of Life.

His plans are to prosper you and give you hope and a future
through the powerful BLOOD and precious grace of Jesus Christ.
