My Phoenix Moves came on the heels of my illness related catalyst moment. Read along as I paint the picture of the ashes that I rose out of with my phoenix moves. It was December 2013, the first day of my six week assignment to train Best Buy employees at two different stores. However, just before the assignment started, I experienced the flare up of a former recurring bronchial asthmatic condition that used to put me out on disability for two to three months at a time. It manifested as a lingering non-stop hacking cough that ripped through my throat and chest. The first time I experienced it was in 1990 and the last time had been in 2009, including two to three episodes in between the years. Now, four years had passed since I’d gotten it under control by addressing the emotional related causes (more about that later). Many of us on this journey of the Entrepreneur and Small Business ownership will experience multiple catalyst moments in business along the way that propel us toward transformation. Although some catalyst moments are caused by joyful circumstances, my catalyst moments in business were birthed out of a “key” job resignation and an illness that reoccurred through my disobedience. “The Why of What I Do” helps me stay focused, encouraged and motivated to hold on through my catalyst moments. In peeling back the layers of Why I do what I do as Inspired 4 U Ministries, I continue the Brand Story Challenge journey to share more of “me” on deeper levels. This is my second round of responses to the journal prompts because after the close of the third challenge, I said “Yes” to two sister brand story challengers, requesting accountability-partner support as they repeat their process. “Praying for God’s Provision” is the essence of the message I shared on The Destination Manifestation Prayerline. Their theme was The Lord’s Prayer and I had volunteered to speak on Matthew 6:11, “Give us this day our daily bread.” I immediately picked this verse because it strongly resonates with me. I knew that it would provide a learning opportunity for me to see and trust God on a deeper level regarding His provisions for my life, and empower others with that knowledge.
How to overcome fear and walk in faith can be attained by practicing the following four actions steps:
When you work with Inspired 4 U Ministries we can guarantee you will feel completely and pleasantly satisfied with the results, confidently compelled to maintain an ongoing business relationship, and enthusiastically refer us to friends, family and colleagues in search of our exceptional products and services There are reasons to express gratitude every day. I wake up grateful to God and give Him all the praise– for even the basic things… Just to open my eyes, breathing one more time and be in my right mind– is often taken for granted, but certainly not guaranteed. You see, my mom lost memory and language skills when she awoke with a stroke in February 2014. Yet, she is still alive at 75, and I am grateful she’s fully mobile and at home with me. What shall I render unto the Lord For all His benefits towards me? In the presence of all His people, I vow a committed life to ministry. God has graced me with second chances; He’s brought me full circle to face life anew. His unconditional love heals me, as it nurtures; I vow trials and transitions I will endure. Welcome to day 4 of my Brand Story Challenge with Coach Jennifer Kem. It is an insightful journaling journey that is revealing the center of my unique expression of creativity in personality, products and services. This entry focuses on “what I really do” as an entrepreneur and owner of Inspired 4 U Ministries. I invite you to join me through my process and hopefully inspire you in yours… |
